Job description

Salary Range: $28.00-31.00 per hour

Role and Responsibilities: Full Time Associate Technical Applications Specialist position providing engineering and logistics support for the Digital Engineering Department for technical documentation support of the AEGIS Combat Systems Support Equipment. Specific work includes the logistics, planning and documentation support services for ECPs, ORDALTs, SHIPALTs, TMs, ETMs, IETMs, APLs, PMS Cards, FBRs, IPLs and engineering drawings.

Position Qualifications:

  • Must have a Degree plus 3 years of applicable experience Or no degree and 6 years of applicable experience.
  • Must be able to develop, review and update technical documentation for engineering, technical and logistic support.
  • Must be able to analyze redlines, review, update and provide technical editing of combat system manuals according to proper MIL-Standards and proper formats.
  • Upon final version approval, update database management/publishing system.
  • Attend working groups and review meetings to ensure technical, format and engineering drawing accuracy.
  • Must be able to provide logistics planning and coordination including documentation review meetings and track logistics products, participate in various working groups and integrated product teams dedicated to development of technical documentation.
  • Must be able to provide logistics, planning, documentation support services, and revisions to Tech Manuals, ETMs, APLs, PMS Cards, FBRs, IPLs and Engineering Drawings.
  • Must be able to coordinate and interface with NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones and product deliveries.
  • Must be able to review and track logistics products to include compiling and inputting data in various databases, systems, and applications.
  • Must have computer Microsoft Office skills (word processing, spreadsheets, data entry)
  • Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.
  • Able to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
  • Previous NAVSEA Logistics experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous NAVSEA Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to travel if/when required.
