The Senior Associate is an onsite client-facing role that supports Point B by leading mid-sized business and technical projects. The Sr. Associate advises clients and implements solutions by combining project management fundamentals with an ability to engage and manage client stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Decision Making and Influence
  • Advises clients and implements solutions by combining project management fundamentals with an ability to engage and manage client stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion
  • Develops and manages project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc.
 
Client Service Delivery
  • Plans, designs, and implements project/workstream plans with minimal oversight
  • Provides direction and coaching to Associates, Analysts, or other team members across areas of assigned accountability
  • Prepares, reviews, understands, and maintains complex project documentation
  • Effectively leads meetings and drives discussions to a necessary resolution to keep the project moving forward
  • Provides oversight for the quality of workstreams and/or components of the project, ensuring that all deliverables meet the firm's quality standards and client requirements
  • Autonomously delivers workstream and or task assignments, collaborating with other partners as needed
 
Business Development
  • Identifies potential Point B opportunities and makes introductions to appropriate contacts
  • Grows network through exceptional client service delivery and maintains relationships to support Point B business development
 
Leadership
  • Coaches and mentors earlier career Team Members in developing new skills and growing their careers
  • Leverages individual strengths and abilities to get the work done

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  •  B.A. or B.S. required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work on-site as requested
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours as necessary
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA desired
  • PM experience leading mid-sized projects
  • Cross-industry experience highly desired, or deep experience in a strategic industry
  • Consulting experience desired
  • Experience coaching or advising others on PM activities
  • Experience with technology, systems implementation, PMO, operations, or process improvement
  • Experience being an effective member of a team
COMPENSATIONS & BENEFITS:

The estimated salary range for this role is $84,500- $169,000 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.

 Bonuses are awarded at Point B's discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.

Employees hired on or after October 1 are not eligible to participate in the current year's bonus or merit increase cycle. Eligibility will begin with the following performance cycle, in accordance with company policy.

JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of Agile/Scrum software development methodology as a Project Manager
  • 5+ years' experience in leading IT projects or teams, managing people, and developing and monitoring budget
  • Experience with Legacy Replacement / System Consolidation projects
  • Experience with integrations with 3rd party solutions
  • Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps
  • Experience with CX projects
  • Agile / Scrum Master certification
