Job description

Role Summary

URBN is looking for an Operations Systems Analyst who is operationally alert and technically inclined to be able to support our distribution centers software products. This candidate must be highly motivated with an aptitude to learn new technologies quickly. This job is somewhat of a super-user for the warehouse system, so if you feel like you have good operational understanding and able to learn new systems you may be a good fit.

Role Responsibilities
  • Distribution Campus based support for Distribution Centers using Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Direct, Retail, Wholesale and OMNI systems support.
  • Ability to identify issues and work with team to resolve issues.
  • Researching and troubleshooting procedure and software related issues.
  • Strong communication skills need to be able to track issues and escalate when needed.
  • Systems include but are not limited to: Warehouse Management System (WMS- AS400), Labor Management (LM), AL Systems, Vanderlande Industries, TGW Automation.
  • Operational skills used when planning new processes, warehouse experience helpful to ensure system functionality is well planned.
  • Candidates must be able to collaborate in a professional manner and be responsible for multiple projects and/or tasks demonstrating high levels of leadership and accountability.
  • Analyze requests from the field for validity and measure effectiveness against Standard Operating Model. Meet established deadlines on all changes.
  • Assist in creating documentation for training to train.
  • Aid with activities and projects for configuration/upgrade changes to existing DC software.
  • Perform quality assurance testing for new releases and upgrades, as well as any other required changes.
Role Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, distribution, operations, process, supply chain or related technical environment is required. Well-rounded distribution / warehouse experience preferred.
  • A strong understanding of logistics interaction between systems, processes, operations, transportation and order management. Deep understanding of business, data requirement needs & data relationships
  • Experience with WM / PkMS, MS Office
  • Organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of personal accountability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and good judgment
  • Ability to apply strategic focus to the resolution of functional, integration, and change management issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, phone and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp organizational culture
  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
  • Must have flexible schedule, some travel required.
