Job Description

Join Olsson's South Facilities Engineering and Design team as a Design Associate and help shape impactful structures across healthcare, data centers, education, and commercial development. In this role, you'll independently perform complex drafting assignments, applying standardized techniques and collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed structural drawings and layouts using Revit.
  • Research and apply design concepts to enhance project outcomes.
  • Review drawings and maintain project documentation.
  • Supervise and support less experienced staff.
  • Collaborate with engineers and attend client meetings.
  • Help improve drafting standards and team processes.
  • Ensure projects meet quality and timeline goals.
Qualifications

  • + years of experience in structural drafting and/or design, with advanced proficiency in Revit and other BIM/CAD tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to generate effective solutions to complex problems.
