The Trade Finance Solutions Analyst will support the development and execution of the Trade Finance line of business as a core component of the Bank's international services and working capital solutions platform. This role is designed for a credit-focused professional with prior experience underwriting working capital and structured lending transactions who is seeking to deepen analytical expertise while developing Trade Finance product knowledge. The Solutions Analyst serves as a strong analytical and structuring foundation for progression into more senior Trade Finance roles, by providing hands-on exposure to transaction analysis, credit underwriting, business proposals, and deal structuring across Trade Finance and working capital optimization solutions
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed financial statement analysis to support credit underwriting, including cash flow analysis, working capital metrics, leverage, liquidity, and borrower performance trends.
  • Support underwriting of working capital loans, structured loans, and trade-related credit facilities, in partnership with senior Trade Finance, relationship, and credit professionals.
  • Prepare and contribute to credit memoranda, underwriting packages, and industry write-ups supporting Accounts Receivable financing structures; Supply Chain Finance and payables finance solutions; and Trade-related lending and contingent liability facilities.
  • Assist in sizing, structuring, and documenting transactions to balance client needs, risk parameters, and Bank policy.
  • Assist with internal approval processes by preparing materials for Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, and senior management review.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of transaction documentation.
  • Participate selectively in client meetings and internal discussions as a supporting, analytical resource.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis related to Trade Finance and working capital solutions.
  • Support post-closing reviews, renewals, and portfolio monitoring activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree, CFA coursework, or relevant certifications a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience underwriting working capital loans and/or structured lending transactions within a bank, investment bank, or similar financial institution is required.
  • Must have experience preparing financial statement analysis, credit memoranda, and underwriting write-ups.
  • Familiarity with working capital optimization solutions, including Accounts Receivable financing and/or Supply Chain Finance structures is required.
  • Prior experience working with Trade Finance products such as Commercial Letters of Credit, Stand By Letters of Credit, Collections and SCG/Open Account is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to support formal credit and business documentation.

Salary Range:
$53,744.00 - $88,290.50
Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
