Job Summary
The Software Engineer will work with an experienced team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers to develop Plugins for the Q-SYS platform. Q-SYS is a fast growing, award winning, software and hardware platform built on cutting-edge audio, video and control products.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Develop Plugins for the Q-SYS Platform
  • Automate third party audio, video, and control devices for complex AV system design
  • Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • The ideal candidate would have experience in an integration and control environment
  • Experience in scripting and leveraging APIs
  • Experience with the best principles, practices, and patterns of source control and software development
  • Experience with basic control cabling, network configuration, and comfortable working with third party AV hardware
  • Must be self-motivated to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Lua scripting or similar language
  • Experience with common control protocols such as SSH, TCP, HTTP, etc.
  • Experience in UI and UX design

The range for this position is $68,900.00 to $148,500.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
