Senior Engineering Technician

Take the Lead on Design That Shapes Communities
FEI is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and a passion for land development. In this role, you'll play a key part in turning concepts into buildable plans-working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do
Design & Technical Leadership
  • Develop detailed land development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including:
    • Site layouts, subdivisions, and roadway design
    • Water, sewer, and stormwater systems
    • Grading, erosion control, and stormwater management plans

Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with Engineers to deliver accurate, on-time designs
  • Support project timelines and budgets through efficient, high-quality work
  • Assist with processing plans through governmental agencies for approvals

Quality & Standards
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and constructability

What You Bring
  • High school diploma (Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of land development design experience
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Solid understanding of site design, utilities, and grading principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
