In this role, you'll play a key part in turning concepts into buildable plans-working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that make a lasting impact.
If you're looking for a position where your experience is valued and your work directly contributes to successful projects, this is it.
What You'll Do
Design & Technical Leadership
  • Develop detailed land development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including:
    • Site layouts, subdivisions, and roadway design
    • Water, sewer, and stormwater systems
    • Grading, erosion control, and stormwater management plans

Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with Engineers to deliver accurate, on-time designs
  • Support project timelines and budgets through efficient, high-quality work
  • Assist with processing plans through governmental agencies for approvals

Quality & Standards
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and constructability

What You Bring
  • High school diploma (Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of land development design experience
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Solid understanding of site design, utilities, and grading principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience
  • CAD certifications
  • Experience with Ajera or similar time/expense software

Why FEI?
  • Work on diverse land development projects that shape growing communities
  • Be part of a collaborative, team-focused environment
  • Opportunity to take ownership of your work and contribute at a high level
  • Consistent schedule that supports work-life balance:
    • Mon-Thu: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Fri: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Our Approach
At FEI, we operate with a focus on accountability, integrity, and strong relationships-both within our team and with our clients. We value people who take pride in their work and want to be part of something meaningful.
Additional Information
  • Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S.
  • FEI does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Direct applicants only-no recruiter submissions

If you're ready to bring your experience to a team that values quality, collaboration, and impact, we'd like to hear from you.
