As a Software Engineer at Arete, you will develop and implement features, as well as resolve bugs, for gimbal sensor systems. Conduct system testing utilizing embedded processors, circuit boards, and associated test equipment. Actively participate in scrum meetings and contribute to agile development cycles. This role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, cross-functional software and hardware team to meet critical customer deadlines. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This position is based in our Healdsburg, CA office and is a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory role.

Experiences and Background We Look For (Required Skills):

  • C++ and embedded development experience.

The salary for this role, depending on degree and experience, is $90,000 to $110,000 a year. However, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
