Job description

J2 Company is hiring an Electrical Project Manager with management growth opportunities.

This will position will provide the necessary support for projects within the organization.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of construction projects from initiation to completion. J2's Project Manager twill be responsible of managing multiple projects ranging in complexity and contract value. You will be responsible for working alongside the Project Engineers, Superintendents and Estimators to complete the Project Team. This position will monitor compliance with design, standards, and legislation. The role will be a liaison between project management / project engineers and service techs as well as between clients and company.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure projects stay on-time and on‑budget through oversight and quality control methods.
  • Navigate customers and team through complex technical, contractual, or regulatory issues.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, define project goals, and track progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Must use cost‑saving initiatives within the respective category.
  • Familiar with repair and maintenance trades a plus (electrical, mechanical, construction, ect.).
  • Will be able to foster a collaborative and teaming environment.
  • Help implement systematic and effective operational techniques and workflow procedures that will enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Interprets contract specifications and translates outcome into workforce efforts.
  • Provide documented inspections on all work being performed.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and MS PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability with the English language (reading, writing and oral communication).
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, copiers/scanners and fax machines).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
