We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Engineering Full-Stack Developer to join the JETSII Contract!
The Cloud Engineering Full-Stack Developer will:
  • Support Luna system development focused on front end tasks
  • User interface design and user experience in coordination with project leadership
  • Current and new feature UI element development and updating
  • Front end code development and testing
  • Participate in Luna agile sprint cadence, executing assigned development content
  • Contribute to the Luna codebase through the Luna DevSecOps process
  • Recommend service and capability implementations to the Luna Chief Architect and Chief Engineer
  • Support conversations with Luna customers for new service development, service federation, and general technical and process integration
  • Contribute to the Luna codebase through the NMC DevSecOps process

  • Design and develop enterprise level Cloud-centric products and solutions
  • Maintain and support existing Cloud-centric applications.

  • Develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, business logic, database, workflows, and reporting and be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future solutions.
  • Work with other developers and analysts on the Cloud Engineering and Product Team.

Requisition Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related area and normally possess 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knack for writing clean, readable code, and follow best software development practices.
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented principles.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
