Job description

SunPlus Data Group, a technology company with over 20 years of expertise in the IT Staffing industry, is in partnership with a client in Houston, TX for a Certified ServiceNow Consultant / Developer in Houston, TX

  • $70 W2 hourly (NO C2C)
  • Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Project anticipated to start in Mid-march or so.
  • Project is for 12 months and extends 2 additional years (3 years, extension possible)

**Please note the selected candidate needs to be flexible with their schedule and able to report to the office in Houston TX 3 to 4 times a month.

Job Description:

Working with an implementation vendor and under limited supervision the contractor will design, develop, test, configure, implement, and provide top-level support for the ServiceNow platform used by ITSM, ITAM, and SPM stakeholders.

The contractor will research third party/cloud solutions to ensure successful integration of the technology and providing knowledge transfer to team members.

They will be deep application and technology skillset subject matter experts. The contractor plays a critical role in mentoring/teaching Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers to ensure we are growing future talent.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain, and enhance forms, workflows, cloud integration and third-party integrations to the ServiceNow platform. Including automation and/or additional self-service features and functions.
  • Incorporate ServiceNow capabilities to create a unified framework for multi-cloud resource provisioning and governance.
  • Utilize ServiceNow toolset to enhance workflow for process automation.
  • Support the overall incident, problem, change management, asset management, project management, and security processes as needed.
  • Onboard additional departments and expansion of IT Self-Service Portal functionality.
  • Monitor the overall platform health to proactively identify possible areas of concern, establish and perform regular maintenance tasks.
  • Work with end users to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge and experience (5+ years) managing/developing/administering a large scale ServiceNow environment
  • ITSM and ITIL concepts and Framework

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
