Senior DevOps Engineer

TITLE: Senior DevOps Engineer

EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES: Provision and administer all major cloud resources, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP, in a highly available environment. Balance service reliability and delivery speed while building software delivery pipelines. Understand existing application and infrastructure footprint and pursue technology transformation opportunities. Implement cloud-based application reliability, resiliency, and observability best practices. Automate deployment and scale of cloud infrastructure as a service solutions. Use software development languages and tools for cloud services deployment. Understand software build and release pipelines for Finxact environments and fix gaps. Ensure smooth code releases by collaborating with development and release management partners.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software engineering experience. Alternatively, employer will accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving software engineering experience. Prior experience must include 2 years in the following: Working with cloud infrastructure with at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, or GCP; Working with Traefik, Confluent, Kafka, RabbitMq, Kubernetes, Helm charts, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Docker, Hashi Corp Vault and Terraform, Rundeck, and Gitlab pipelines; Scripting with Python, Linux Shell, and Powershell; Working with Swagger and Postman API frameworks; Working with PostgreSQL and pgAdmin; and Implementing observability and telemetry at a large scale with Datadog, Open Telemetry or Prometheus.

TRAVEL: 15% regional, national and international travel required for business meetings.
