The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of an Engineering Technician, Junior/Journeyman/Senior, supporting PMA-231, the E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office.
Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $175,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education. The range that is given is an estimate and may vary based on contractual constraints. At AM Pierce & Associates, it is our goal to provide equitable compensation for all employees.

The Description:
  • Apply engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems and associated support equipment or components.
  • Review, analyze, develop, prepare and apply engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Organize, analyze, and prepare reports and presentations of technical data and information.
  • Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment and components.
  • Compile, process, reduce, and analyze test data results.
  • Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, select and adapt standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, received initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, perform recurring work independently.

Education & Experience:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret. Interim TS to start.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Technical/Engineering Discipline.
  • Junior Level: At least one to three (1-3) years of experience in engineering field, performing the functional duties for this position.
  • Journeyman Level: At least six (6) years of experience in engineering field, performing the functional duties for this position.
  • Senior Level: At least eight to ten (8-10) years of experience in engineering field, performing the functional duties for this position.
  • Desired experience working within DoD Platforms.

  • On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
