As a Systems Engineer, you’ll help design fuel system components for some of the world’s leading aerospace programs. We’re looking for an experienced problem-solver who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and creativity; someone who can lead a team and provide technical expertise.

Job Overview:

The Systems Engineer facilitates all technical aspects of a project and coordinates technical tasks with assigned engineering staff, project managers, and team members. This position directly supports engineers in completing project requirements through design, development, testing, qualification, and production phases.

The Systems Engineer provides technical leadership to cross-disciplinary teams, demonstrating expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems engineering. This role also serves as the primary technical contact for customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as technical lead on projects to ensure product designs meet performance specifications and customer requirements.
  • Engage as the primary technical point of contact with customers, suppliers, and test facilities to ensure our products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Work with electrical, mechanical and software engineers, providing technical guidance and direction towards project completion.
  • Contribute to process improvements, new product development, and creative problem-solving.
  • Confidence executing external qualification testing, preparing test equipment, and reporting results.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Create detailed design documentation and conduct analyses for complex systems.
  • Be highly self-motivated and organized, consistently managing tasks proactively and delivering high-quality results.
  • Assess product quality, safety, and compliance with technical standards.
  • Control project technical plans by reviewing designs, specifications, and schedules; recommend actions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline & 3 + years of relevant experience.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering & 6 + years of relevant design experience.
  • Requirements analysis, system safety analysis and design expertise.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, technical document standards, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of CAD, CAD/CAM, circuit design, and software process.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
  • The ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Experience developing prototypes using best practices and new technology.
  • Ability to travel independently up to a few times a year.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).

Above and Beyond:

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industries.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and assembly of electromechanical systems.
  • DO 160G experience.
  • Familiar with ARP4754
