POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Specialist - Sales Administration supports the Sales Enablement team by streamlining daily administrative and operational workflows that help frontline sales teams close deals faster. This role supports tactical execution of go-to-market strategies, maintains data hygiene across core sales tools, and provides direct administrative support to improve sales execution and customer satisfaction. The Sales Operations Specialist also serves as a primary point of contact for CRM-related questions and supports ongoing training through the Sales Excellence Journey.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
CRM & Dashboards: Maintain and update operational sales enablement dashboards as needed to ensure visibility of pipeline, inventory, and other key sales metrics. Monitor CRM data hygiene by identifying inaccuracies in account ownership, deal stages, product tagging, and related data fields, and execute necessary corrections. Serve as a primary point of contact for CRM-related questions from the sales team and provide ongoing support for CRM utilization. Provide administrative support and technical troubleshooting to sales teams regarding CRM, inventory dashboards, logistics tools, and other core sales systems.
Commercial Governance: Provide direct administrative assistance to the sales team during quoting and proposal phases, including opportunity creation, assisting with customer price list, and pricing validation against current discount policies.
Customer Onboarding: Support the customer onboarding process by ensuring required information is captured accurately for purchase order processing, including taxes, tariffs, customer information, and related requirements. Assist with customer portal setup and support sales teams with portal-related administrative needs.
Compensation Reporting: Assist with creating reports to support sales compensation processes, including bonuses related to specific sales campaigns and incentives.
Process & Tools Training focus: Conduct onboarding training, host technical webinars, and continuous enablement sessions to help sales managers use core sales tools effectively. Assist in the deployment of Sales Excellence Journey initiatives, including coordination of training materials and centralized team communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain and organize sales documentation, contract archives, centralized sales playbook repositories on SharePoint, and related enablement materials. Partner with Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, HR, Customer Service, and Operations to align on commercial priorities, streamline sales processes, and improve efficiency.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience: One to two years of field sales experience preferred. Experience supporting sales operations, sales administration, customer onboarding, reporting, or commercial operations preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, including strong Excel skills. Experience with Excel macros, Power BI, CRM systems, and SAP preferred.
Certifications & Licenses: None required, unless business travel or customer-site requirements apply.
Other Requirements: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude toward new challenges, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong interest in developing and growing the capabilities of the sales team.
