Job description

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory by developing strategic customer relationships, expanding existing business, and identifying new sales opportunities. This role serves as the primary liaison between Holley Performance Brands and its customers, executing territory strategies that strengthen market share, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional customer experience. The Sales Account Manager will support the following brands with Stilo, Simpson, and HANS. 

This position will sit in either Mooresville, NC or New Braunfels, TX. 


Key Responsibilities

Territory & Account Management:

  • Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives. 
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key customer accounts. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer partnerships. 
  • Conduct regular customer visits to evaluate business needs and develop account growth strategies. 
  • Increase sales volume within assigned accounts through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.

Sales Execution

  • Present products, promotions, and business solutions to customers through meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions. 
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend product solutions that maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and sales agreements within company guidelines. 
  • Utilize market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and improve sales performance. 
  • Develop territory forecasts and maintain accurate sales pipelines. 

 

Customer Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers by providing responsive communication and timely issue resolution. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Support customers with product information, availability, pricing, promotions, and technical resources. 
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and exceptional service. 

Industry & Business Development

  • Represent Holley Performance Brands at trade shows, customer events, industry meetings, and training seminars. 
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities. 
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, customer activity, and market insights. 
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel, as business needs require. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 5+ years of outside sales, territory management, or account management experience. 
  • Proven ability to develop customer relationships and consistently achieve sales objectives. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. 
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively.
