The Medical Receptionist 3 plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a healthcare facility's front desk and patient intake processes. The role requires effective communication with patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate seamless patient flow and support quality care delivery. The Medical Receptionist 3 also assists with billing and insurance verification, contributing to the financial accuracy and compliance of the practice. Ultimately, this position serves as the first point of contact for patients, embodying the organization's commitment to compassionate and efficient healthcare service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients promptly and courteously, verifying personal and insurance information.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate medical staff.
