Position Information
Job Title Project Coordinator Nature of Work
Performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day to day operations of a function, program, and/or department - this is not a secretarial position. Assists in program planning and development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding operating policies and procedures; administers budgets; and coordinates academic and/or staff personnel matters. Resolves problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department.
Examples of Work Performed
Essential Duties:
Participate in the internal and external development, administration, promotion, and execution of strategies, programs, activities, and events of the Office of Admissions as assigned by the supervisor.
Develop, promote, and execute strategies, programs, activities, and events to support student recruitment and retention, and other enrollment efforts.
Act as an Admissions' office application processor and communication liaison for incoming students.
Assits with on-boarding of students, working directly with students, parents, staff and departments across campus.
Assist with system and communication administration, training, documentation, data integrity, etc.
Act as content manager for assigned websites, monitor and update admission web pages as assigned, and act as admin for various assigned software.
Secondary Duties:
Prepare reports as requested
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or work related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with databases, word processing, and spreadsheets
Strong computer skills and familiarity with various software programs
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
