Supports United's communication goals by ensuring that content on digital communication channels (internal and external web content and emails) are built reliably, quickly, and innovatively. Administers and executes full lifecycle of email campaigns in ESPs such as Salesforce and Pardot. Works closely with User Experience, Visual Design, and Project Managers, to produce impactful and engaging work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with User Experience and Visual Design (using Lean techniques) to produce rich experiences on digital communication channels, including external web sites, Intranet, and email (templates)
  • Develop code that is clean, meets industry standards (e.g. WCAG AA 2.1), compatible with major browsers, email clients, devices, and operating systems
  • Implement content and code updates for ongoing projects
  • Scope and prioritize work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to work within established timelines and budgets, and strategize workflow
  • Provide accurate estimates and stay true to timelines
  • Keep material confidential information safe
  • Ideate during design stages to create innovative and engaging experiences
  • Participate in design workshops and design sprints
  • Create proof of concepts, showcase new techniques
  • Improve the team's design standards
  • Stay up-to-date, and ahead of, industry best practices and techniques for web/email/ESPs
  • Collaborate with clients/stakeholders for reviews and training on digital communication channels

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years experience in similar role
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript or React.JS
  • Code Repositories like TFS, GitHub
  • C# .NET
  • Responsive, cross-browser web development
  • Responsive, cross-client email development
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with team and clients/stakeholders
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
