Job Description

The purpose of the position is to support the Maintenance and Manufacturing areas through the accurate preparation of civil and mechanical layouts, detailed drawings, sketches and diagrams.  This position coordinates the CMMS and PDM systems in support of all areas of the facility.  This position also maintains electronic and physical filing systems for all drawings, construction change orders, “as- built” drawings, project timelines, and PDM data sheets.  The position also is responsible for coordinating assigned projects within time, cost, and quality guidelines.  The position may require working occasional overtime, weekends and off shifts.

Qualifications
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including the use of electronic filing systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software including the ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form, with all levels of associates within the company as well as vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies and instructions and implement in the CMMS.
  • Ability to recognize maintenance issues and the ability to make logical, detailed recommendations for
  • Ability to generate reports and statistics for the purposes of improving plant maintenance and operations
  • Ability to train staff on the use of the CMMS system
  • Ability to estimate costs of personnel, parts, and supplies to used during scheduled maintenance and projects
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical / electrical processes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate knowledge of the PDM system
  • Intermediate knowledge of the CMMS or other maintenance planning systems
  • 3+ years of Maintenance Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
