Job description

  • Inspire, develop, and leadan accomplished team of faculty while mentoring trainees and advancing thedivision's clinical programs. Foster a culture of accountability anddemonstrate strong leadership and consensus-building skills across the divisionand the department.
  • Drive strategic program growth by expanding and strengthening clinical, research, and educational initiatives; enhancing multidisciplinary collaboration; elevating the national reputation of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Arizona and Banner Health; and ensuring excellence in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Provide clinical services and mentor trainees at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson and Banner - University Medical Center South.
