Job description

Description
The University of Rochester School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Rochester Medicine Gynecology and Obstetrics Associates office, is recruiting for a full time academic position (Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor - of clinical level). Qualifications include Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This applicant will be joining a group of faculty members and will be expected to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for teaching medical students and residents. Majority of time will involve direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting, surgeries and procedures related to general ob/gyn and participation in research activities. Special consideration will be given for individuals with particular experience in contraception family planning, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, menopause, vulvar care, or minimally invasive surgery.
A post-offer health assessment and drug testing is required to be performed on-site. The University of Rochester has a strong commitment to principles of diversity and, in that spirit, actively encourages applications from groups underrepresented in higher education.

M.D./ D.O. Degree or equivalent
Eligible for a New York State Medical License
Must meet all credentialing requirements
