Assistant/Associate Professor of English
Job Description
The tenure-track assistant/associate professor of English teaches 12 hours per semester in Freshman composition, world literature and/or upper-level courses related to his/her specialty. Ph.D. preferred with demonstrable excellence in teaching, research and service. The ideal candidate should be qualified to teach English literature of all periods and professional writing.
Required Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. in English; the candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as a team member; must have excellent interpersonal skills and meticulous in performing job duties; must have desire in scholarly research; must be willing to advise students, converse with students and listen patiently to students
