Senior Production Engineer Requirements & Qualifications:

Must Haves
  • Extensive experience designing parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
  • Strong knowledge of iLogic, iParts, iAssemblies, Frame Generator, and best modeling practices
  • Ability to generate accurate 3D models from existing equipment and customer specifications
  • Experience creating detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings
  • Experience developing and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Ability to coordinate with manufacturing and programming teams to ensure successful production
  • Experience supporting engineering documentation throughout the manufacturing process
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing methods
  • Ability to solve open-ended engineering challenges with minimal direction
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design custom equipment from customer order specifications
  • Create and maintain accurate 3D models and manufacturing documentation
  • Generate fabrication drawings for production
  • Maintain engineering BOMs throughout the design lifecycle
  • Coordinate with CNC programming and manufacturing to ensure successful shop floor execution
  • Enter and maintain engineering data within the ERP system
  • Develop automation and process improvements using Autodesk Inventor iLogic
  • Mentor junior engineers on CAD standards and best modeling practices
  • Support engineering layouts, technical documentation, product improvements, and research & development projects

Senior Production Engineer Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience designing vibratory or bulk material handling equipment

Experience working with Epicor ERP or other manufacturing ERP systems

Design for Manufacturability (DFM) experience

Experience working with Autodesk Inventor Assets
