Job description

Production Planner

Compensation: $50,000 - $58,000 Base Salary, plus 10% Bonus Potential, Benefits on day 1 including 3 weeks of PTO

Location: Fayetteville, TN

We are looking for a Production Planner that will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for our client's manufacturing operations. This manufacturing environment is a bit more in-depth than assembling materials that can be ordered and stockpiled, as most of the projects that you will be planning are custom. With that being the case, the components of the products being manufactured are mostly custom as well. This person will work with the technology in place to make sure that customer orders that are being processed can be feasibly delivered based on materials in stock to build the components and the labor required to complete the entire process. We are seeking someone who can be a great communicator across multiple departments to ensure that manufacturing operations are efficient as possible.

Responsibilities: Production Planner

  • Determines if orders from the office can be feasible be produced based on material on hand or obtainable in time to meet project deliverables date
  • Planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to monitor the status of projects to ensure customers are communicated with, as well as other stakeholders such as those scheduled to install the products when they are delivered on site
  • Work outside of normal parameters when necessary by altering schedules to meet unforeseen conditions when necessary
  • Audit work orders for accuracy of components and parts listed; confirm required materials are available
