Job Title: Associate Product Manager

Reports to: Product Sales Manager

FLSA Class: Exempt

Learn more about our company and how we support you:

The surgical robot that assists a surgeon. The autonomous vehicle that navigates a warehouse floor. The train control system that keeps thousands of commuters on schedule. Somewhere inside that technology is an ADLINK product.

Ampro ADLINK Technology designs and manufactures embedded computing hardware for industries where failure is not an option. Industrial automation, robotics, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, and intelligent transportation are just some of the markets we serve. Our products sit at the edge of these systems, processing data and providing real-time control where it happens, when it happens, not in a distant cloud.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Taiwan, we operate across the US, UK, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, and Germany with products deployed in more than 40 countries. Our San Jose office drives our business across the Americas and works closely with technology partners, including Intel, NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm, and NXP.

If you want to work on hardware or software that ships into real-world applications — not prototypes, not demos — and grow alongside a team that has been leading-edge computing for three decades, we want to hear from you.

Whether you are a seasoned engineer or early in your career, what you build here will end up in the real world.

How will you make an impact: We are seeking a Product Manager to be the central link between customers, engineering, and strategy — turning technical detail and market insight into products and plans that drive real business growth.

The Product Manager position is office based.

  • Manage project timelines and coordinate cross-functional communication among R&D, manufacturing, and QA to ensure execution milestones are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including datasheets, cost analysis, competitor comparison tables, and market intelligence reports.
  • Support the NPI process and oversee product life cycle management for various product lines.
  • Conduct market intelligence and technical gap analysis across vertical sectors, including embedded, industrial, casino gaming, and healthcare, to assist in defining future product roadmaps and strategic sales plans.

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a foundational understanding of engineering concepts is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, project coordination, or sales support, preferably in the hardware industry.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially advanced Excel skills for data tracking and PowerPoint for professional presentation development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clarify customer requirements and coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to project execution.
  • High learning agility, with the ability to quickly grasp technical product specifications and understand the dynamics of vertical markets.
  • Understanding of Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable to facilitate communication and collaboration with our headquarters.
  • Ability to work on-site is mandatory.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
  • Life, AD&D, Short Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability insurance.
  • HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA
  • Vacation and Sick Leave.
