Apex Systems is looking for a GenAI PO/BA for one of our large banking clients.
Location: Charlotte NC, Chandler AZ, Irving TX, Minneapolis MN
Onsite expectation: Hybrid 3 days onsite/week
Pay range: $52.50 - $55.50
Contract Length: 12mo

Overview
Seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Generative AI Associate Product Manager/ Business Analyst to support a GEN AI Initiative within the Commercial Banking (wholesale) LOB. This hybrid role blends analytical depth of a Business/Data Analyst, the strategic thinking of a Product Manager, and the executional rigor of a Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Backlog Management
    • Assist product manager in maintaining the product backlog, prioritizing backlog with guidance from Product Manager
    • Breakdown prioritized features into functional and nonfunctional user stories for technology, and Data science teams
    • Identify all components required (UI, Backend, Gen AI) to implement a feature
    • Craft clear concise and actionable user stories for UI, Backend, API, Gen AI with defined acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
  • Product execution and delivery
    • Understand Feature details quickly grasp context, breakdown into user stories
    • Groom user stories with Development team and ensure Development team has clear understanding of the acceptance criteria
    • Understand team's capacity/velocity and story sizing
    • Participate in Sprint Planning meetings, provide input on user stories that must be prioritized by technology team and provide input in defining sprint goals
    • Partner with UI/UX team to design UI/UX considering all key aspects of UI development
    • Identify dependencies across multiple teams and work with teams to prioritize stories with all dependent teams
    • Provide input to help Development and Data science teams finalize solution approach for user stories considering aspects like scalability, extensibility, performance etc.
    • Complete PO validation of user stories/release/launch
    • Coordinate with QA to ensure coverage of critical scenarios
    • Drive UAT testing, reporting, defect management and prioritization for tech teams
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Facilitate communication between stakeholders as needed to remove impediments, communicate progress of sprint, highlight risks, issues dependencies etc
    • Documenting meeting notes and action items from cross functional meetings
    • Maintain centralized document repository for Project artifacts that can be accessed by all key stakeholders
  • Data
    • Understand data requirements for Gen AI and explore different sources of data based on data requirements
    • Collaborate with multiple POs to understand the data and integration capabilities
    • Create Data mapping (source to target) for data between 2 or more systems
    • Validate the data in different sources to ensure quality
    • Create Data integration stories, API testing, Batch data testing
    • Create user stories for integration, testing criteria
  • Requirements
    • Detail oriented and highly organized
    • Understanding of system flow, architecture design, API, DB construct
    • Ability to translate complex features into user stories
    • Strong analytical and business skills
    • Experience in software development, business analysis, data analysis, software testing cycle.
    • Strong experience in deep diving into data, good understanding of Teradata, Mongo db (document db)

o At least 2-5 years' experience with SQL/ No SQL queries
o Experience understanding json, API swagger
    • Good understanding of web application, API development, Application performance, UI/UX development
    • Experience using JIRA, Figma, Postman

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working on AI/ML products in a Financial Services industry.
Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and responsible AI frameworks.
Understanding of System architecture, technical specifications etc
