APMs work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams to help define product features, conduct user research, and support the launch of new products. They are responsible for gathering and analyzing data, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring products meet customer needs. APM programs are common in tech companies and serve as a training ground for future product leaders.
