Job description

Job Title :Senior Planner Maintenance
Purpose :
This position requires a self-starter who challenges the status quo. This position will support effective and efficient job execution by identifying and performing job investigation, plan development, material procurement, standard data application, communication, reporting and follow up.
Responsibilities :
Identifies jobs which are to be planned and creates time and resource estimates by conducting field checks and review of work requests before planning sequence of operations, by contacting the utilities / production department coordinator, facility engineer, or Manager to determine the exact requirements and the job priority.
Coordinates work with other trades or groups and with operating departments, managers and facility engineers, outside contractors and/or other support service providers, checking on work when completed to assure conformance with standards, codes, specifcations, and the expectations of the requestor.
Identifies opportunities such as: planning for equipment availability, plant shutdowns and coordinating work schedules with maintenance coordinators ,managers, or others needing to be aware or involved.
Estimates required hours on work order tasks, total work order duration, and skills required to perform the task.
Facilitates communication and coordination for jobs or workload through discussions and meetings, preparation of sketches, drawings or vendor literature required to enable the tradesperson to perform the work, through ordering parts and materials from stockroom or from vendors.
Improves integrity of PM program through consideration and maintenance of CMMS data and instruction. (i.e., checklists, thought triggers, spare parts, PM frequency, regulatory compliance, manufacturing schedules, job plan content, preparation of PM request or PM Change Request forms, etc.).
Procures (Purchase Requisitions) equipment, materials and specialized toolsrequired to perform work contacting external suppliers to request proposals(Quotations) for service and materials, (day-to-day orders, special spending, spareparts and Capital) including changes to Purchase Orders. Support full P2P process(quotes, invoices, payment, PO closing.)
Assist in the generation, investigation and closing of exception reports accountpayables in the Engineering area.
In case of need to ship out parts, equipment or machinery to be repaired ormaintain; must comply with all applicable documentation processes such as OZ,Take Out Permit, and any other APL documentation requirement.
Responsible of contacting suppliers and vendors to coordinate shipping of parts,equipment machinery to be maintained or repaired in vendor facilities.
Qualifications :
Associate's degree or equivalent, in a trades related fi eld, in addition to aminimum of 10 years of in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, HVAC ,Instrumentation or the equivalent in years of experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Maintenance Planning Role or equivalentexperience performing maintenance planning related tasks.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
Must have multi-skilled trades capability and be familiar with the application andoperation of all basic maintenance tools and equipment used by various tradesgroups.
Must be knowledgeable of various computer systems and programs used inmaintenance operations
Must be knowledgeable of AbbVie policies and procedures involving andimpacting maintenance operations
