Join Our Imaging Practice

ECG’s Imaging Practice partners with healthcare organizations to develop and execute strategies that enhance imaging operations, expand patient access, optimize technology utilization, and improve financial outcomes. Working with Siemens Healthineers, ECG helps clients address challenges related to workforce shortages, evolving reimbursement models, equipment planning, and operational efficiency across the full spectrum of imaging services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine.

Your Opportunity with ECG: Senior Manager or Associate Principal

Senior managers and associate principals at ECG are experienced consulting leaders who guide complex engagements, shape client strategy, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s people, offerings, and market presence.

At this level, you will:

  • Lead major client engagements or critical work streams.
  • Influence executive‑level decision-making.
  • Coach and develop consultants at multiple levels.
  • Contribute to business development and long‑term client relationships.

Senior managers typically focus on leading large portions of engagements and advancing team and project execution, while associate principals bring broader strategic influence, trusted‑adviser presence, and increased responsibility for relationship development and market growth. Your Responsibilities May Include

Client Service and Project Leadership

  • Lead significant components of complex client engagements, ensuring accurate, insightful, and actionable deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration and/or master’s degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Senior Manager: Typically 8+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, or analytics
  • Associate Principal: Typically 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, operations, or analytics
  • 7 or more years of progressive leadership, consulting, and/or health system management experience in radiology and imaging services, including strategic planning, service line development, operational transformation, physician alignment, and financial performance improvement
  • Demonstrated expertise in imaging operations optimization, with deep knowledge of radiology best practices, imaging technologies, major modalities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology), subspecialty radiology services, and emerging care delivery models
  • Previous healthcare consulting experience serving hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, physician groups, or imaging organizations, with a demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, develop executive -level recommendations, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive implementation of strategic and operational initiatives
  • Experience leading imaging, radiology, or related clinical service lines within a health system environment, including oversight of multiple departments, sites of care, and/or hospitals, with responsibility for operational, financial, quality, and workforce performance
  • Experience advising or partnering with academic medical centers (AMCs), faculty practice plans, and large integrated health systems to address complex radiology and imaging strategy, operational, organizational, and growth challenges preferred
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to radiology department chairs, chiefs, division leaders, physician stakeholders, service line executives, and administrative leaders, influencing strategic decision-making and driving organizational change
  • Strong understanding of radiology and imaging economics, including physician compensation models, productivity measurement, workforce planning, capital investment evaluation, equipment utilization, access management, and imaging service line financial performance
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving physicians, operations leaders, and executive stakeholders across multi-site organizations while delivering measurable improvements in quality, access, patient experience, and financial outcomes
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite leaders, physician executives, and operational teams to advance strategic priorities and achieve results
  • Proven ability to lead complex engagements, influence senior clients, and develop high‑performing teams

The estimated base salary range for this job is $205000.00 - $260000.00 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) matching program, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
