Job description

Overview

The TS&EP Associate Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in enabling effective governance, planning, and execution across the Tech Strategy & Enterprise Product (TS&EP) organization. This role supports the establishment and ongoing management of portfolio governance processes that ensure alignment across short, medium, and longterm planning horizons, including Demand Management, TS&EP owned program execution health and coordination, monthly operations review coordination, coordination between finance and TS&EP leadership for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, and visibility to the enterprise project portfolio.

Partnering closely with the TS&EP Chief of Staff, senior leaders, and project leads, the Associate Portfolio Manager helps integrate planning and governance activities into a cohesive, endtoend portfolio view.

As a key enabler of demand aggregation and prioritization, this internally focused role supports senior leadership decisionmaking by providing transparency, structure, and discipline across portfolio intake and prioritization processes. The Associate Portfolio Manager works collaboratively with stakeholders across S&T Capability and Transformation functions, S&T Finance, and the Process Excellence & Transformation Program Management COE to drive consistency, alignment, and delivery excellence across the TS&EP portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate demandshaping sessions, leading tradeoff discussions that balance overall portfolio affordability and delivery capacity.
  • Support outofcycle investment requests by integrating them into the broader enterprise portfolio and ensuring alignment with governance standards.
  • Partner with Program and Project Leads, as well as TS&EP Leadership, to prioritize the enterprise portfolio of new technology initiatives.
  • Define and reinforce guiding principles that inform optimal TS&EP investment decisions and initiative selection.
  • Own Demand Management intake governance, ensuring adherence to PMO and SPM best practices while providing leadership with clear visibility into demand.
  • Lead and centralize portfolio scorecarding for TS&EPowned investments, delivering consistent progress, health, and risk reporting for sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight of TS&EP program execution health, enabling alignment and issue resolution across initiatives.
  • Drive monthly operational review rhythms, ensuring accurate reporting and actionoriented discussions.
  • Partner closely with Finance and TS&EP Leadership to support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and portfolio consolidation.
  • Deliver ongoing transparency into the enterprise technology project portfolio to enable informed decisionmaking.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $104,100 - $174,300.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience supporting IT portfolio management, governance, or integrated planning activities
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to support committeebased governance forums
  • Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
