For more than 50 years, Microbiologics has partnered with healthcare and life science laboratories, manufacturers, and suppliers around the world to provide biological reference materials, quality controls, and contract research services for microbiology, molecular diagnostics, and virology. Headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota, our work quietly stands behind the quality assurance programs of hospitals, laboratories, and diagnostics companies worldwide.
We're looking for a Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team in St. Cloud, MN. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role responsible for developing and maintaining production plans that support customer demand, inventory objectives, and manufacturing capacity, working closely with our manufacturing teams to keep materials flowing and schedules on track.
What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain production schedules.
• Review and manage MRP recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels and production requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams on priorities.
• Analyze demand trends and inventory performance.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries.
• Resolve material shortages and maintain accurate ERP data.
What We're Looking For
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred; relevant experience in planning, inventory control, manufacturing support, or supply chain coordination may be substituted for formal education.
• 2-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control, scheduling, manufacturing support, or supply chain coordination preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier teams.
• Comfortable analyzing data and prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
