Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role involves performing engineering assignments ranging from limited scope to advanced projects. The position requires working with increasing independence based on experience. The work focuses on utility-scale solar, BESS, and power plant operations, and involves project management, regulatory compliance, and technical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering assignments with varying levels of complexity and supervision.
  • Assist with project management, negotiations, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Plan, organize, and manage engineering projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in decision-making, technical analysis, project coordination, and engineering oversight.
  • Ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and reliability goals.
  • Provide interpretations from data, develop technical documentation, and offer guidance to other technical staff.
  • Prepare job cost estimates, pole bore details, and other documents for construction projects.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive work environment.

Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in engineering studies and analysis, applying engineering-related disciplines to solve assignments.
Specialized Engineering Functions
  • Electrical/I&C Engineering: Experience with electric distribution systems, power systems, ladder logic, and computational tools (ETAP, EDISON).
  • Mechanical Engineering: Knowledge of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, pipe stress analysis, and ASME standards.
  • Civil/Structural Engineering: Experience designing and managing civil infrastructure components, including foundations, site grading, drainage systems, seismic qualification, and pipe supports.
  • MOV Valve Engineering: Skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and valve program management.
Driving Requirement
Driving is a required part of this position's duties. A valid, non-restricted driver's license must be maintained. The driving record must show no alcohol or drug-related offenses within the previous five years and the license cannot be suspended or restricted.
