The Opportunity
As a Materials/Packaging Engineering Intern, you will work alongside our Product Management team to support the development of new products, improvements to existing products, and packaging-enhancement initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience evaluating customer feedback, market needs, material and packaging performance, product protection, usability, and technical requirements. This experience may lead to future opportunities in product management, product development, materials engineering, or packaging engineering.
  • Evaluate product materials, packaging designs, and performance requirements.
  • Assist with product and packaging testing, validation, and data analysis.
  • Research emerging materials, packaging technologies, and competitive products.
  • Identify opportunities to improve durability, usability, sustainability, and cost.
  • Support technical documentation, presentations, and product launch activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.

The Program Details
  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May-August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI's Product Management team
  • Host location: Deerfield Beach, FL
