Primary Objective:

 

 

 

In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose or primary objective of this position.

Provides operator relief in various departments as needed.

Major Functions and Scope:

Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function or responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

  • Can perform all of the following functions (fully trained):
    • Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
    • May function as a changeover, must be able to assist with color changes,setting, material handler, inspector, and slab handler
    • Conducts test or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods
    • Performs additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet
    • May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use of conformance to product requirement.
    • Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified
    • Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
