Job description

Our Corporate Marketing and Communications team is currently seeking a Marketing Associate Data Analyst in our Worcester, MA location.  This is a full-time, exempt role. Position is eligible for Hybrid/Flex work arrangement.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is a results-oriented marketing data and reporting analyst who supports the Marketing team by improving contact data quality, maintaining recurring reporting, supporting data refreshes, and completing ad-hoc reporting requests. The role helps ensure that CRM, marketing automation, channel reporting, and campaign reporting data are accurate, current, and usable. Responsibilities include ongoing contact record cleanup, duplicate remediation, reporting maintenance, data quality review, and support for campaign audience and engagement reporting. This position partners closely with Marketing Automation, CRM, and other data/analytics partners to support cleaner contact data, more consistent reporting, and stronger campaign execution. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Analyze and evaluate marketing, CRM, campaign, and reporting data to identify trends, surface insights, and support campaign recommendations.
  • Support CRM and marketing data quality efforts by correcting record errors, reviewing contact statuses, researching and merging duplicate records, validating key contact and agency/account information, and tracking recurring data quality issues for escalation.
  • Support campaign data QA by validating audience counts, reviewing duplicate or incomplete records, checking required fields, and escalating data issues prior to campaign execution.
  • Conducts analysis to ensure marketing programs are showing adequate returns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to share data insights.
  • Maintain contact cleanup queues, track remediation progress, and document recurring data quality issues for review by senior marketing data and analytics resources.
  • Maintain recurring program and existing marketing reporting by refreshing reports, validating outputs, confirming data accuracy, and ensuring templates, definitions, filters, and reporting processes remain current and consistent.
  • Employees are expected to meet the essential functions of their role, including maintaining regular, predictable and reliable attendance and adhering to their assigned work schedules.
  • Onsite attendance requirements may vary by position and are subject to change based on business needs consistent with applicable law.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using appropriate channels, including phone, email, teams, and in person interactions as required.
  • Ability to maintain sound judgement and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, CRM/data quality, reporting, sales operations, or a related data-focused role. Proficiency in Excel required; experience with SQL, Power BI, CRM systems, or reporting tools preferred.
  • Expertise with database querying/reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Marketing Automation tools and Salesforce a plus.
  • Comfortable with quantitative information and the ability to recognize key trends and indicators within it.
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in an autonomous environment, proactive and persistent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking in a very fast-paced work environment.
  • Cultivates an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
