Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Field Operations to lead and optimize field-facing operational strategy and infrastructure supporting the build out of a high-performing Commercial field team to support a brand launch. This role drives compliant, efficient, and insight-driven field operations across the Hematology Franchise and plays a critical part in ensuring operational readiness for product launches and ongoing field excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute field operations strategy aligned to commercial and medical objectives
  • Oversee field technology platforms (CRM, roster systems, reporting tools) in partnership with IT
  • Lead territory design, roster management, and alignment processes to ensure compliant coverage models
  • Coordinate onboarding operations with Training, HR, and Compliance
  • Direct field reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, and business insights
  • Ensure all field processes meet FDA, OIG, and corporate compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and quality
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, IT, HR, Legal, and Finance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 8-12+ years of experience in Field, Commercial, or Sales Operations within biotech or pharmaceuticals
  • Strong knowledge of FDA, OIG, and industry compliance standards
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva), field analytics, and alignment technologies
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Capabilities

  • Experience supporting product launches in small-mid-size biotech environments

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

Additional Information

Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $167,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.
