The Manager, Business Operations eCommerce manages the strategy and execution of store capacity programs across Walmart Canada's omnichannel network. This role involves governing capacity standards, maintaining system integrity, controlling operational risks, and ensuring capacity data accuracy and compliance with established operational and financial standards.


Operational planning focuses on Store capacity needs, with the manager developing processes, standards, and tools to optimize capacity utilization and resource efficiency. The manager collaborates with stakeholders to drive program expansion and scalability, ensuring alignment with business goals and profitability. This position also supports the development of capacity optimization initiatives by leveraging industry best practices.
The manager oversees the governance and administration of Captimus, including capacity configuration, data validation, issue resolution, and process improvements and reports on program performance to senior leadership, identifying metrics and addressing blockers.

Responsibilities also include supporting financial activities such as budget development, and expense management while ensuring compliance with payment processes, as well as the development of business cases, recommendations, and capacity solutions that support omnichannel growth and operational readiness.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Store Operations, eCommerce, Market Fulfillment, Product, Technology, Operations, Data & Analytics, and Finance to achieve strategic objectives and support capacity-related initiatives.
Additionally, the manager may develop and implement customer value propositions, driving project outcomes by leveraging data insights and continuous improvement initiatives. The goal is to enhance customer experience and market share while maintaining agility to adapt to shifting business priorities.
