Job Title: Microsoft Endpoint SME
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - Remote with occasional onsite support as needed)
Duration: Upto 5 Years
Position Overview
We are seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of modern endpoint management and security solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender, providing technical leadership for enterprise endpoint architecture, identity integration, and device security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Intune solutions.
  • Architect and support Windows Autopilot deployments and automated device provisioning processes.
  • Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender security capabilities across enterprise endpoints.
  • Develop and enforce endpoint security, compliance, and conditional access policies.
  • Support endpoint lifecycle management, enrollment, provisioning, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to improve endpoint security posture.
  • Troubleshoot complex endpoint, identity, and device management issues.
  • Develop technical standards, architecture documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Microsoft endpoint technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of endpoint engineering or systems engineering experience.
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot.
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Defender solutions.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, identity management, and modern device management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint deployments and management programs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience.
  • Experience implementing Conditional Access and Zero Trust security principles.
  • Knowledge of endpoint compliance, governance, and security frameworks.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives.
