You’ll help bring the virtue of hospitality to life while we create an environment that allows you to be your best self and grow. The Security Officer promotes a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates by maintaining order, enforcing property policies, and responding to incidents. This role is responsible for patrolling hotel grounds, monitoring security systems, and investigating and documenting events such as theft, injury, or property damage.

Part Time availability, Weekends and holidays required

$19.00 per hour. 

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  • Patrol interior and exterior areas to identify safety risks, suspicious behavior, or security breaches.
  • Monitor and document activity from security cameras, reporting any unusual or unsafe conditions.
  • Control access to associate entrances, issue and collect visitor passes, and safeguard hotel keys.
  • Respond to incidents including theft, property damage, unlawful entry, or guest disturbances, creating clear written reports.
  • Assist with lost and found, secure property, and maintain detailed activity logs.
  • Support emergency response efforts including fire, medical, severe weather, or evacuation procedures.
  • Generate associate identification cards and assist with other security-related administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership and associates to ensure a safe and positive guest experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to Work 2nd or 3rd shift. Weekends and Holiday will be required
  • Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCTV operations is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
  • Ability to write clear, professional incident and investigative reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and tactful in stressful situations.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
