Job Description

Title: Research Associate (HEOR)

Duration:12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ

Job Responsibilities:

The HEOR Research Associate (RA) is responsible for creating an internal and external value communication strategy for the function with executional responsibilities for publication planning, medical writing, global project management, and value dossier creation.

Under the guidance of the department head, the HEOR RA will support global project management for the function with responsibilities for capturing program impact on public health.

The RA will also support the development and management of the functions publication and value communication strategy.

This may include, but is not limited to, managing a timeline of external scientific engagement opportunities, and poster, abstract and manuscript development.

In addition the RA will support the function in the development of global value dossiers across the company's product portfolio with a specific focus on defining unmet needs in the healthcare system.

Responsibilities: HEOR project and program management including alignment to business objectives, timelines and resource utilization Internal communication strategy which may include quarterly project and program impact reports, newsletters, website management, and cross-functional training engagements

External communication including congress and publication management Value story development through product global value dossier support

Represent HEOR department on internal working teams and with external agencies (as needed)

The role may also present the opportunities to get involved in technical HEOR projects including data analytics, economic study design, systematic literature reviews and modeling

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Candidate must have an advanced degree in a healthcare, business or economics related discipline (MD, PhD, MSc, MPH, and/or MBA).

Relevant disciplines include medicine, pharmacy, health services research, public health, economics, epidemiology, medical English, medical communication and healthcare policy.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field.

As the HEOR team expands investment in evidence generation programs, additional support is required to maximize impact of this research on the scientific community.

Through the development and execution of an evidence communication strategy the function will be able to maximize the utilization of study results.

In addition, a dedicated resource will allow for internal dissemination of, and training on, evidence based value stories as they unfold.

We expect this contingent resource to offset reliance on external medical writing support while enhancing internal and external HEOR communication.

Knowledge & Skills:

Understanding of HEOR work concepts, principles and practices

Demonstrated excellence in medical writing including publications and presentations Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational/administrative skills, including experience in working with senior leadership

Proficiency in project management including timelines and budgets

Expert research and analysis skills including literature reviews and secondary data analysis methods preferred Self-starter
