Job Summary

As a member of the Marketing Execution Squad, the Senior Marketing Consultant will act as a strategic partner to the Specialty and Retail Marketing squads as part of an agile operating model. The Sr Marketing Consultant is responsible for managing and executing marketing campaigns across various LOBs. The Sr Marketing Consultant will be responsible for the execution of client facing campaigns in collaboration with multiple data and channel partners. The Sr Marketing Consultant will coordinate all activities required to deliver omni-channel direct marketing campaigns, with channels including direct mail, email, online banking messaging and phone leads. This position will manage the campaign execution from end to end, working with multiple teams across Key to coordinate delivery.

RESPONIBILITES

  • Works autonomously to support work of marketing managers and channel partners
  • Draws marketing strategies and/or insights from analysis; recommends strategy based on insights
  • Uses knowledge of marketing principles to help provide recommendations on use of tactics to achieve both marketing and business objectives
  • Proven relationship-building skills with mid to senior level management and cross-functional teams
  • Assists with designing marketing plans and execution tactics for assigned product line(s)/segment(s) while adhering to established procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to influence through analytical insights, business acumen and LOB knowledge
  • Developing strong business/financial knowledge; understands client's strategy; knows our competition and how business works
  • Strong writing skills; demonstrates creativity in articulating messages that support recommendations
  • Demonstrated presentation development; tailors message as needed (audience includes LOB clients)
  • Experienced understanding of specialized marketing discipline
  • Provide timely and effective communication to team members to ensure awareness and commitment to defined marketing initiatives
  • Coordinates with internal and external business partners including line of business, analytics, creative services, agencies, compliance, and leadership to support development and execution of an effective marketing plan
  • Follows established marketing processes and manages risks effectively
  • Effectively recognizes and escalates potential risk; has a handle on all team control procedures, testing, and processes where applicable
  • Maintains internal policies and procedures, including updating and drafting training materials as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience (required)
  • Proven ability to effectively organize, plan and execute multi-functional projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital creative marketing development process
  • Demonstrated understanding of banking products and segment needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Solid writing skills; can cohesively present and organize information
  • Participate in meetings with all levels to direct partners through the execution of a client facing marketing campaign
  • Agile experience and working knowledge of agile tools is a plus - Jira / Confluence
  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative with limited supervision
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, high level of organization and excel at multi-tasking.
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while proactively sharing timely status updates and information with partners
  • Develops and owns assigned marketing projects within scope and timeline
  • Manage internal and external resources and agency partners to meet assigned objectives
  • Adheres to applicable risk policies and procedures
  • Ensure process adherence, regularly support internal audits validating compliance and risk policies are met
  • Cooperatively work with cross-functional teams for any project need

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
