The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $119,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other candidate qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage manufacturing operations, including production, scheduling, prioritization, inventory, expenses, staffing, hiring, development, communication, and performance management.
  • Promote employee safety and wellbeing; manage hiring, development, communication, and performance in compliance with Company policies.
  • Communicate goals to team members and deliver timely performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, OSHA, and EPA requirements through effective controls.
  • Develop strategic plans and annual operating budgets aligned with Corporate and Divisional long-term objectives.
  • Ensure all production training certifications remain current and compliant.
  • Manage line layouts, equipment ergonomics, process flow reviews, material storage, and overall space utilization.
  • Plan and coordinate production flow changes to maximize throughput.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication to manage manufacturing flow and shipping schedules.
  • Plan and implement lean manufacturing initiatives using systems and simulation tools to optimize space, equipment, materials, and labor.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance, Business Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, and others to ensure contract adherence and avoid issues with products, tooling, and deadlines.
  • Stay current on manufacturing technologies and equipment to support quality, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
  • Consistently demonstrate and support Nortech's Mission, Core Values, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a hands-on leader who brings both operational discipline and people leadership.
  • Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in regulated or complex assembly environments
  • Experience managing teams, schedules, performance, and production metrics
  • Exposure to ISO manufacturing standards
  • A working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly at all levels

Education & Background:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or Business preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome
