Job description

Bella Notte Restaurant Group is looking for a high-energy person, with a flair for exceptional guest service, to manage at one of our concepts. We have 4 unique concepts Crust, Smashing Tomato, Bella Notte, and Bella Cafe & Grille. The perfect applicant will have previous experience in coaching and training staff, along with inventory control. Applicants must have open availability to work any day, including weekends and holidays.

Core responsibilities of the General Manager include:

  • control day to day operations by scheduling labor
  • ordering food and supplies
  • developing the restaurant team
  • manage a team of restaurant managers, associate managers, and shift leaders
  • ensure company policies and local and state safety codes are enforced
  • control profit and loss by following cash control and security policies
  • maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions
  • recruit, hire, train and promote team members
  • conduct performance appraisals
  • motivating and training team members
  • ensure maintenance of equipment, restaurant, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance plan
  • ensure 100% food quality and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide specific examples of how they have improved P&L's, controlled inventory, improved guest service, managed a restaurant within the policies and guidelines of the company while ensuring guest satisfaction and profit maximization.
