Job Summary
The Associate Branch Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall success and day-to-day operations of the branch business unit. The Associate Branch Manager should lead and empower his/her team to operate at their highest level to achieve all Branch success metrics including:

The Associate Branch Manager is responsible for the financial success of their book of business and will participate in the development and management of annual operational budgets, strategic sales plans, customer Relationship Management and Labor Management and Efficiency.
Dependent on size and scope of branch, this position reports to the Branch Manager or Regional Vice President and works closely with all departments of business to guarantee successful operations.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basis
  • Oversees the daily workflow and operations of the book of business
  • Support and management of all customer accounts
  • Models and enforces all company policies and procedures
  • Manage key relationships (vendors, clients, coworkers) to achieve sales, renewal and retention goals
  • Ensure that jobs are completed according to contract and within budget
  • Monitors, mentors, and leads branch team in order to balance company goals with employee satisfaction
  • Provide support for irrigation system management when necessary
  • Work with Fleet Team to ensure proper assets are acquired, utilized and maintained
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance teamwork and problem-solving
  • Interview, hire, supports recruiting, training and development of staff
  • Responsible for employee recognition at all levels within the book of business
  • Ensure branch staffing levels meet the needs of the business
  • Responsible for P&L ownership for the book of business
  • Work with Human Resources to address promotions, demotions, corrective actions, terminations, personnel staffing and training needs
  • Manage Aspire and other integrated software systems to maximize operational performance
  • Conduct performance and compensation reviews in coordination with Human Resources and Branch Manager
  • Work with the Branch Manager to develop and establish the branch's annual budget

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be physically able to operate power equipment
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
