As a Kitchen Team Member, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the quality that Newk’s guests expect every day.

Responsibilities include:

·      Prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, and other menu items according to Newk’s recipes and specifications

·      Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation

·      Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards

·      Properly prep ingredients and stock stations for each shift

·      Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

·      Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for peak business periods

·      Work with urgency during lunch and dinner rushes

·      Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations

·      Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, and minimizing food waste

·      Support other stations whenever needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently

·      Dependable and punctual

·      Passionate about preparing great food

·      Able to work with speed while maintaining accuracy
