Job Description Summary:
We're looking for enthusiast associates to join our team at The Coca-Cola Store. We are an energized team that likes to have fun at work and meet new people from all over the world. Our Lead Retail Sales Ambassadors greet and assist our guests as well as stock, stage and transport merchandise to the sales floor. You'll also be involved in selling Coke merchandise, so you'll need to be good with handling money and you also get discounts on Coke merchandise as an associate. We're looking for candidates that have a passion for working in teams and have a thirst for helping people.
Position Overview:
The Lead Retail Ambassador will support the operational functions of the store, including handling customer queries, assisting Ambassadors with POS transactions, adhering to the opening and closing checklists/SOPs and ensuring the store standards throughout the daily shift. The Lead Ambassador will refer all duties which require manager approval to the appropriate leader on-duty. The Lead Ambassador must embrace and role model outstanding guest service and contribute to the high morale of the Ambassador team.
Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 40 hours/week
Candidates must be able to work weekends, weekdays and holidays. Flexible shifts varying between the hours of 8am and midnight.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Act as a role model to the Ambassadors.
  • Support Associate Managers with answering radio calls and handling guest queries.
  • Assist with cash-in and cash-out process.
  • Assist with opening and closing process, ensuring all checklists are complete.
  • Assist the Associate Manager on-duty with ensuring all Ambassador breaks and lunches are handled. Maintain position coverage as required by the needs of the business and as specified in the daily schedule.
  • Assist Ambassadors with POS transactions where appropriate, to include refunds, voids, returns etc.
  • Support the Associate Manager on-duty in giving Ambassadors direction to ensure premium guest service and store standards during the daily shift.
  • Respond immediately to guest experience recovery situations using best judgement to resolve issue in accordance with guest service guidelines. Engage Associate Manager(s) as appropriate in these situation types.
  • Maintain visual standards and follow the plan-o-grams set by the Planners and Visual Merchandise Manager, under the guidance of Associate Managers.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Associate Manager(s) or Store Manager.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
Education:
High school diploma; GED equivalent
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience within a fast-paced/experiential retail environment.
Previous supervisory experience advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to successfully pass drug screen and criminal background check.
