Job Summary
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control operations, with a primary focus on managing and directing cycle counting activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports operational efficiency, and leads a team of cycle counters to maintain high standards of stock integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cycle counters, including scheduling, training, and performance management 
  • Plan and execute cycle count programs to ensure accurate inventory records 
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis 
  • Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper documentation and system updates 
  • Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and procurement teams to maintain inventory accuracy 
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports on accuracy, trends, and variances 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements 
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes 
  • Support physical inventory counts and audits as needed 
  • Maintain safety standards and promote a culture of accountability and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of inventory control & warehouse experience, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
