Job description

Job Title: Inventory Associate II - A Location: Van Horn, TX A-shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM CST Type: Contract / On-Site Compensation: $30 to $32 per hour

Responsibilities • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects. • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to inventory and fulfillment processes. • Properly operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, following safety and maintenance procedures. • Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for compliance with SOP standards. • Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts and shipments, ensuring adherence to requirements. • Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools. • Input data accurately into inventory systems, navigating modules and reading information as needed. • Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout workflow stages. • Sort, stage, and move packages or crates, securing items to prevent loss. • Label and mark parts with identifiers according to SOP guidelines. • Properly store parts, perform storage audits, and ensure compliance with SOP procedures.

Requirements • Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years and companies). • Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material experience. • Experience in receiving, shipping, and handling inventory, including put-away, picking, and kitting. • Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
